Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Weekend of Service & Sacrifice: Helping our Neighbors in Need

VOLUNTEER

Montgomery County has a rich tradition of volunteer community service. Hundreds of community nonprofit organizations that help our neighbors in need and add immeasurably to our quality of life depend on volunteers to do what they do for our community. But in these difficult times, we need even more people to roll up their sleeves and help. If you are a regular volunteer, thank you for your service and commitment. We will hope you will join us on this historic Martin Luther King, Jr. Weekend of Service & Sacrifice. If you haven’t been a regular volunteer, please join us on January 19. You will find volunteering to be a rich and rewarding experience that benefits you as much as the people you serve. The links below will allow you to find a community nonprofit organization that could really use your service during the year. Through your volunteer service, we build a stronger more caring community.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
