Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Weekend of Service & Sacrifice: Helping our Neighbors in Need

DONATE FOOD

Montgomery County residents donated generously during the recent holiday season to the Manna Food Center and many other organizations dedicated to helping the poor. Many of our neighbors in need have benefited from these holiday giving campaigns. Each year, when January comes, the food pantries see their donations diminish considerably. But the poor are still hungry. They still have to choose between paying utility bills, visiting the doctor, and buying food. They still need your help.

You can help us restock the shelves depleted after the holiday season. The Manna Food Center will be picking up donated nonperishable goods at the following sites on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Monday January 19:

Food can also be dropped off at all of the County’s volunteer sites on MLK Day, January 19.
